Cleveland Music Box Wedding Photography – Jill and Ben
Jill and Ben’s September 1st Music Box Wedding was as meaningful to me as it was special for the Bride and Groom. As the bride’s neighbor I watched as Jill grew from a little girl getting onto the school bus every morning into a wonderful person, accomplished woman and published author.
The Music Box Supper Club on the West Bank of the Flats served as the venue for their ceremony and reception and the views of the river and the Cleveland skyline were an amazing backdrop to an amazing day! While Ben and his gentlemen got ready at the Aloft Hotel on the East Bank Jill and her ladies spent time getting ready at the Music Box Supper Club in anticipation of their first look on the boardwalk next to the Cuyahoga River.
The weather could not have been better . . . After their a first look on the boardwalk, with the Cleveland skyline in the background, Jill, Ben and their bridal party boarded Lolly the Trolley to wisk them away to the Cleveland Public Library as they are both librarians and this was the perfect location to share this special day.
Once finished at the Cleveland Public Library everyone high-tailed it back to the Music Box to rest and freshen up a bit before the ceremony and then on to the reception. As I mentioned, both Jill and Ben are Librarians and they had an old typewriter for guests to try their hand at typing a special greeting for the Bride and Groom. Both Jill and Ben’s moms (Sue Grunenwald and Lorri Cox) created the fabulous centerpieces for each table while Jill’s bridal bouquets were hand made paper flowers. . . another special touch. A very meaningful part of their marriage is the sapphire ring that Ben gave to Jill. . . . it is an heirloom from Ben’s grandmother and will be cherished. One of the last highlights of the evening was the Swenson’s Food Truck arriving to serve up iconic burgers and shakes to all of Jill and Ben’s guests.
It was a beautiful day and I would venture to say that everyone in attendance had a wonderful time . . .
